Installation

Installation of all versions of this software application will be electronic via the South Carolina Association of Counties secure  website: https://scac.setoff.org.   For a detailed step-by-step description for installing the new software, please download the installation instructions (pdf file)

Notification of new versions: An email with a attachment in pdf format will be sent to each user with detailed instructions on the installation process prior to its availability.

1. The secure website, https://scac.setoff.org Sign On screen:

The Username and Passwords are assigned by Five Star Computing

 1. To Sign On, enter the following:

•  Username [REQUIRED] [Must be 6 characters, beginning with SC0]
•  Password [REQUIRED] [Must be 8-9 characters, combination of digits, upper and lower alphabetical characters and special characters]
•  If the login is unsuccessful the following error message appears:

  2.  To view the detailed steps for installing the software, please download the WINDOWS INSTALLATION document and follow the instructions. 

  The first time this site is accessed, depending on your Internet Browser (Internet Explore, Firefox, Netscape, Opera, Safari, etc.) a certain level of ActiveX or Java must be installed on your workstation. If not, a screen appears with the Wizard Installation.  (See the instructions for upgrading Java on pages 2 through 4 in the WINDOWS INSTALLATION document.)

  Security and Privacy features are included in the transfer protocol of the software.  Please view pages 23 through 25 of the WINDOWS INSTALLATION document for an explanation of expected conformance to HIPAA, FDIC, OCC, Graham-Leach-Bliley Act, California SB 1386, Canadian PIPEDA and other regulations.
